Ocean Blue Restaurant

Can any one provide a recent ( 2016) review of the Ocean Blue Restaurant on the Norwegian Getaway?

In my opinion it is the best restaurant in the entire NCL fleet. Service is impeccable. Appetizers are truly outstanding.. wherelse can you get both Alaskan King Crab legs AND Florida Stone crabs for appetizers. The main menu is also excellent. I had the Seven seas platter ... snapper , shrimp lobster- great. Obviously mostly a seafood place. If you go to beyondships2.com you can see the entire menu....look under the Breakaway not the Getaway....the Getaway still shows the Old menu ....the Breakaway shows the new menu ( which IS on both ships)

We were actually a little underwhelmed when we went in February. The appetizers were good, but the seafood spectacular (or whatever it is called) came out lukewarm. The side dishes were a little over cooked for our liking.

 

Some people love this place, but we probably won't be back.
