Alcohol on Alaskan Cruises - Good Deals?

This will be my wife and I first Alaskan cruise on Princess (the Sapphire 6/27), while cruising the Carribean we often times purchase a bottle of alcohol on ship (or shore) since they are so cheap. Does anyone know if the same good cheap deals are offered on Alaska cruise ships?

Yes on board you can buy duty-free, ashore you will pay the surcharge that all Alaskan good seem to have. ($2 more in Alaska and Hawaii) on pizza's from pizza hut for instance.
