PetaAnne Posted November 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Hi Everybody. I am hoping someone might be able to help me, as I am having difficulty getting in contact with carnival about these questions. We are booking a cruise a couple of months away, and I have recently been put on Thyroid meds. What kind of paperwork will I need to take this aboard? If any? Can I just take it aboard? Also - My husband & I both use CPAP machines, which we will want to take aboard as carry on (so not to risk damage). Will I need documentation to allow these units also? Thanks so much for any advice in advance.
nevada2121 Posted November 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Don't worry about it. Been on it for almost 9 years, just make sure you bring enough, in it's original container. My brother uses one and just carries it on, no problems with several lines. I would just bring a power strip on board, due to limited outlets Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
MadWoofter Posted November 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Can't help with the CPAP, but I'm on thyroid meds and have had no problem taking medication on Carnival (or any other cruise line for that matter). if you are at all concerned just get a letter from your GP but you won't need it. Relaxing Robbies Posted November 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Just off Carnival Legend last week. My husband put his CPAP in his normal luggage this time, but has previously carried it onboard in hand luggage. Carnival do not allow you to take your own powerboard or extension cord. Just ask your room steward when you get to your cabin and they will get one for you.
