AFT Balcony

Just a couple of quick questions asking about the aft balcony rooms. Is the balcony very big and how was the view? I believe we will be on the 13th floor-how was the noise level from these rooms? have never cruised on NCL, only 3 Carnival cruises in the past and am very excited to try out a different cruise line. Any recommendations to do or not to do? :) Will be on the 7 day leaving from Miami on 2/19/17-Getaway!

Good news...

 

Aft-facing balconies have a great view

 

Bad news...

 

Deck 13 on Breakaway/Getaway/Escape is the least deep aft-facing balcony on each ship. (Breakaway is below but Getaway is identical)

 

 

With the balcony door fully closed/sealed, there won't be much noise (if any). You may feel some bass from Spice H2O at night but it isn't bad since (on BA/GA) deck 14 is staterooms and deck 15 (on BA/GA) is the Garden Cafe then above the cafe is Spice H2O.

It is a great view but we were on a RC in the Mediterranean. We booked the same cabin on HAL for a Panama Canal cruise next month.

Ours had no noise with a slightly bigger veranda that most cabins but we like the view and smaller ship feel looking out to the side.
