Money for Laundry?

We are doing a 15 night cruise so know we will want to do laundry at some point. I know you can get change for the machines at customer services but...

 

Do you have to have Aussie money to change or can you charge it to your account?

 

We have loads of OBC but being kiwis no aussie money - so if we can't charge it i will need to get some Aussie money to take on board!

 

Clarification would be appreciated - plus any comments on the use of the laundry :)

You will need aussie coins to use in the laundry.

 

Also depending on where you are going, you will also need aussie money ashore as well, as not many places in the pacific/ PNG or in Australia will accept NZ money.
