JessInNY Posted November 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2005 I will be on the princess star later this month, visiting Cozumel, Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. Can someone let me know if using international phonecards purchased in the US can be used in these ports of call. Also, any advice or information regarding internet cafes would be appreciated - I have never used one. I have to be in touch with home at least every other day and am trying to figure the best way. As usual thanks for your information and help.
CruiCin Posted November 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2005 JessInNY, International phone cards and internet cafes are usually available at each port (although Cozumel may not be up to speed at this point). I would recommend using the ship's internet cafe for email while at sea and using a land based calling center/internet cafe at Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. If you have a wireless phone with international calling capabilities you can also connect at both of these ports. (Keep in mind wireless rates may be more expensive than a dockside calling center.) Enjoy you Cruise! :) Cindy
