Current drinks prices on Voyager of the seas... please help!

HI Everyone. We are trying to work out if its worth getting a drinks package and i hear prices went up this year. Could someone please tell me the prices for Beer and cocktails on cruises that have been in 2017 on the Voyager?

Going off the Ovation prices - and one would 'think' the RC would have the same....

 

Beer.... bottled - $US7-8

 

Cocktails ..... $U13 +

 

 

+ Add in the 'wow, happy to take that cap off you' charge of 18% tip/gratuity on drinks...

 

+ Add in the conversion - 1 AUD = 0.768052 USD

 

 

So .. a Corona bottle - $U8.26 = $A10.58...

 

 

...... scandalous isn't it.... a carton can be purchased for around $A45 (less by RC with bulk purchase, GST and Duty free).... and they could 'make' $253 on some ship sales.

If RCI haven't changed their policy for cruises sailing from Australia, the the tip/gratuity is included in the price. They have different drink menus on these cruises.
