Anybody back recently from the Domenican Republic and visted Altos de Chavron. If so, was there a fee. I have seen as much as $25.00 charge to being free of charge. I also read you need ID to get in. Can anybody please help me with these two questions. Thank you!

Probably want a mod to move this (or post this) to the Dominican Republic port of call forum as you'll get more responses there.

We visited Altos de Chavron when we were on the Breeze last March and it was free to get in and walk around. We paid for a shuttle that ran every hour. I forgot the price but it was cheap (under $10) and we just walked right outside the pier and the kiosk for the shuttle was there.

*We did not need id at all.
