nickntash Posted November 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Just returned from the Carnvial Miracle (Oct. 30) and had the most amazing time with cave-tubing.com. I cannot say enough good things about Yhony and his team. We were the largest single group they had ever worked with and it went so smoothly from start to finish. To my surprise, they managed to keep us all together from start to finish. We were able to squeeze in both the upper and lower caves, a short city tour and lunch at Cheers (great food), all for less than half of what Carnival wanted to charge us. The even managed to get us back in time do some shopping outside of the tourist traps in the Port. The drive out was funny, informative and only made us want to go back to Belize for a longer visit. The walk to the caves was very easy and Yohny personally escorted one member of our group who was in her 70's. They broke us up into smaller groups once we were on the river and worked their behinds off to keep up all together. They even managed to save one of the cruise customers who was forgotten by their guide. I don't know if anyone has ever arranged an excursion for 35 people but there was a lot of (my own) pressure for it to be a sucess and cave-tubing.com did not let me down. In fact, I did not get one negative comment from our entire group, pretty impressive. Let me know if you have any questions. Cave-tubing.com is the way to go. fitters Posted November 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2005 How many people in each group did they break you up as? And what type of shoes did the majority of you wear? Some were saying tennis shoes would be fine...but wouldn't they get wet!? Thanks!
CruisingCatherine Posted November 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2005 How long did the tour take? You said you did both the upper and lower caves, a city tour, plus lunch, and shopping. Could you elaborate a little more on the city tour and the things you saw during that tour. I was also wonderfing what the cost per person is? Thanks for the info!! noahsark99 Posted November 18, 2005 #5 Share Posted November 18, 2005 Thanks for your great post! What is your take on young kids tubing? We are booked with Yhony in April and will have a six and seven year old with us. Do you think it would be too much or was it pretty calm? Thanks for your opinion! :)
