Dock in Venice

Good afternoon.

 

Can anyone tell me where the Quest docks in Venice? Early re on the 9/16 sailing, ending in Venice. We are staying at a hotel right by St. Mark's Sqaure. We have stayed there in the past when sailing on a larger ship and there was a mixup on disembarkation day and it was a nightmare getting to the hotel

I would like to book a water taxi in advance this time, but was not sure of the name of the pier since I think it is a different than the one used for the larger ships.

Azamara uses the San Basillo Terminal. There is a private water taxi dock right at the entrance to the pier.

Do you know if there are water taxis there you can get that day or are they all reserved in advance?and will they bring you directly to your hotel? Ours is right at a gondolier station (not sure if that's what it's called). I had emailed our hotel and was told they send one to pick us up for 145 euros.

This seems to be one of the only things I am having trouble getting information about.
