Shore Excursions/Suggestions for 1-day stop in St. Thomas

Hello-

My husband and I will be taking a cruise on RCL Explorer of the Seas on 2-April-2006. We have never been on a cruise nor have we ever been to St. Thomas.

We are hoping to get some suggestions from someone who has been there-particularly for snorkeling, beaches and/or shopping.

My son and I just did the helicopter tour in St. Thomas and it was AMAZING. I would spend the $$$$$ and do it again in a heartbeat.

Please consider a daysail on a six-pack sailboat. We just visited St. Thomas for the first time and had the most unbelievable day aboard Rumbaba. My husband is absolutely counting the days until we can do it again next year!

We have done his tour three times. You get the island tour, shopping, and a couple of hours at the beach. He picks you up at the dock, and drops you off after the tour. He's GREAT!

Would highly recommend the Captain Nautica Snorkling Tour. It was a shore tour on the RCCL Jewel in Sept. You can check him out his web site.

We just booked a day sail with High Pockets, they only take 6 people and seem to be very personalize. Can sail, snorkle,swim, or explore the beaches with food and open bar, and going to get us back in time to also do a little shopping. What more could you ask for?
