The Jade - Should I chose her?

We have sailed Breakaway and Getaway and have enjoyed both ships. I dont mind the idea of a smaller ship, I'd prefer a better pool area experience than we have had with Breakaway and Getaway.

We have enjoyed the Haven and Vibe too. We have also spent time with firneds at the pool area and Spice H20. We like other cruiselines pool areas yet we love Vibe and the Haven areas.

Sea Days are top side for us, how does this ship's deck plans in the pool and sunning areas work for guests with preferences like us?

TIA!

I'v only been on the Jade (Getaway is next month), but while the pool deck did get busy, I could always find space - particularly on the upper sun deck. From what I've read on here, it will probably feel a bit more spacious than Getaway's deck, given the number of people, because it's designed as quite an open space. All the facilities are at one end or the other of it. There's obviously no Vibe on Jade, but there is a Haven section.

I just got off the Jade Deluxe Owners Suite and although the pool area was one of the most cruiser friendly pools on NCL since they removed the slide with lots of room and seating for all, I still prefer the away ships or the Escape. The Haven on this ship is not worth the extra cost above that of a regular suite. Also, I felt the lack of desirable entertainment as well as the loss of the Haven restuarant for dinner and the lounge for drinks. IMHO I probably will not sail in the Haven on the smaller ships. Also, the casino on this ship is horrible. I came out ahead on the cruise but didn't gamble most nights because the tables were empty or the tables were so limited that we couldn't get in. Only one craps table which was usually empty or two roulette tables. One of which didn't even have a sign to post the previous numbers so no one would play there. Casino was very dark and smoky and had a negative vibe at most times.
