Newbie question

we haven't cruised in over 15 years. In days gone by, there were cruise dicounters all over. Doesn't seem like that's around any longer, or am I missing something? Looking at the Jewel in November. Thx.

No, your not missing anything. There are some deals to be had on occasion through some TAs, but they are few and far between and hard to find. For NCL I haven't found anyone who consistently discounts them; instead choose a TA by the amount of OBC offered.

My understanding is that many of the cruise lines don't allow TAs to advertise a lower fare than the cruise line itself offers. So, they "discount" it by offering perks and on-board credit. My TA's fares are the same as NCL's, but he gives me about 10% of the fare in OBC. :D
