Carnival Magic Taste Bar

Question for those that have recently been on the MAGIC.

 

A couple of years ago we were on the Carnival Sunshine and found that the TASTE BAR served breakfast in the Ocean Plaza everyday. There was never a crowd and the food and selections was really good. We have seen the FUNTIMES for the 6-day Magic recently and it does not list the TASTE BAR for breakfast....do they serve Breakfast at the Taste BAR on the Magic?

yes they do serve breakfast at the taste bar , i always went to the coffee shop in the morning and watched them set it up

Yes. As the other poster indicated, it wasn't open early, but more like 8 ish. It appeared to be continental...can't remember seeing if they had anything hot.

Thanks! On the sunshine they had Eggs Benedict and other hot things as well. That was several years ago. I hope that's the case on the Magic.

It wasn't listed in May, but we went to the Taste Bar and were surprised to find some hot items as well as bakery goods, cereal, fruit and beverages. Just missed the hot chocolate and passion fruit-guava-orange juice that's available on the Lido. It's a great place with seating in and out and when we were there, no crowds. No one seems to care if you grab a table with a few items and pop back to get whatever you need.

No eggs benedict in May, but scrambled eggs, grits (I think) and breakfast meat like bacon or sausage.

Yes it was open. Scrambled eggs, sausage, continental fare... it was super convenient (next to coffee bar) and no line ever!

Good to know. We enjoy grabbing a salad and other items from the Taste Bar at lunch (another surprise), so this may be an option to keep in mind.
