Room 4542 - Grandeur of the Seas

Hi Everyone,

It's Cooncat again. I am in Room 4542 on this great ship. I know this is on the same deck and a little behind the Champaign Bar. Is this a quiet area of the ship?

Cooncat, I'm interested in hearing about your room location as I'm considering booking on this deck for a January cruise.

I was just recently on the Grandeur in 4066. I thought it was very quiet in our cabin. Just a note though, our friends were in 4566 which is the "smoking" side of the ship, and they usually had to walk thru a bit of smoke whenever they left the hallway into the Champagne Bar. The only other note to mention is that they do the Art Auctions in that area. (Seemed like almost everyday) So, you will have to shuttle around some of the artwork going back to your room. Not a big deal though.

Redcat, My room is on that same of the ship. Will the smoke get into the rooms? How bad was the smoke? Will I need to bring some air freshener with me? Now I am a little bit concerned. At least I won't have too far to go after having the champaign. A little more than four months until I do the dock dance.
