DAHMAN Posted December 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2005 I am sailing on Rhapsody of the Seas the week of 1/2/06 to 1/8/06 and I was wondering if I will be able to watch the Rose Bowl/Orange Bowl/Sugar Bowl while on board the ship? If so will I be able to watch them in my room or willl they have it on in one of the lounges on board? I am a huge college football fan and would hate to miss these games. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Be aware however that satellite reception isn't guaranteed...we were going to watch the Texas/Texas A&M game on the Serenade, but the satellite wouldn't come in. DAHMAN Posted December 2, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted December 2, 2005 Okay, thanks for your response. I am sure since we are leaving out of Galveston there will be alot of disappointed Texas fans if we don't get satellite reception and are not able to watch Longhorns smash the Trojans in the Rose Bowl... :D
Patfan Posted December 2, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 2, 2005 All major sporting events from the USA are via satellite at the sports bar or other location specified in the cruise compass. Good luck, we are sailing on the Serenade during the Superbowl. Unfortunately my Pats won't be there. Maybe Drew will be there with Bill Parcells and the Cowboys!!
