Alternative option for Belize

We'll be in Belize in a few weeks and I was wondering if there are bike rentals on Caye Caulker and if the island is small enough where you can pretty much find whatever it is you're looking for. Was the beach crowded at all?

 

What should we bring other than credit card (in case we get left behind!), bathing suits, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses? Do they rent beach umbrellas or anything?

Yes a few places to rent bikes if you want. or golf carts also. No many white sandy beaces....... but a few places to lay at at the "Split" with nice shallow water. Take all the things you mentioned along with some BUG SPRAY for the sand fleas on your legs. Calker is very small. Approx 3 dirt roads runnins north and south ....... no more than 1/2 mile long. Great little bar resturaunts with wonderful food.
