Uploading a photo during on-line check-in ???

We have never cruised on the Harmony but my boss is cruising on it in late fall. While doing the on-line check-in he mentioned it asked you to upload a photo of yourself? Is this needed or true? I would assume even with the wrist bands used on this ship that they can still take your photo as you are checking in for your trip.

Uploading a photo is optional. It saves a minute or so at check-in.

I tried to do this for my up coming symphony cruise and every time I upload my picture it shows up upside down, though it’s right side up. :confused: Tried using laptop and iPad just can’t get it right side up. I finally gave up and left it upside down so I could continue check in.
