Visa arriving on a Celebrity Cruise ship to Colombo and Oman

Hope that somebody will be able to clear a confusion regarding visas.

COLOMBO. Is a Transit visa enough to go on a shore excursion which is free or they require a Tourist visa?

There is a lot of confusion regarding what type of visa you need to spend a few hours in Colombo.

MUSCAT (OMAN). What type of visa do you need to go on shore in Muscat? Does Celebrity organize this?

Any answers will be much appreciated.

I would contact Celebrity directly.

 

What I do know is that most cruise lines obtain visas on board for Oman. Have sailed there many times.
