Cruise all the way through the new Panama Canal Locks

Anyone know if Princess will do any cruises that will go all the way through the new locks instead of a partial transit?

Emerald Princess is scheduled to go from Vancouver to FLL via the (obviously) new locks in April 2019.

From what I’ve seen on the Princess Web site they add “New Locks” when using the new locks. Without that notation I suspect it’s through the old locks.

Here’s one cruise this month “Panama Canal with Costa Rica & Caribbean (New Locks)”

The only ships in the Princess fleet that can transit the old locks are Pacific, Sun, Sea, Coral and Island.

 

So barring some major disassembly--and/or a lot of lubrication-- Emerald Princess will be in the new locks.
