Need Advice on Car rental and or Taxi service

We are a party of 6 and will be doing a two day pre-cruise stay in Miami in mid March. We booked the Hyatt Regency at Coral Gables, thanks to TrentS's suggestion. We are thinking of renting a van from the airport and return it to the downtown location just before boarding the ship. Just wondering, do they have van taxi's at the airport or would our party have to take 2 taxi's and approximately how much would it cost for a taxi from the airport to Coral Gables and then from Coral Gables to the Port of Miami?
