Hey guys – just got back from the 12/10 sailing of Dawn Princess – although no one responded to my post here about the trip, there were about 20 guys at the FOD gatherings – you’ll have a great time.

Glad to hear the news... how was the cruise overall? This is our first "small" ship, but have heard it will be a good experience. Any advice or tips for having a good time?

Dawn Princess is a fine ship and perfectly sized for the itinerary – I think you’ll find that she’s got most of the amenities you’ll find on the bigger ships with about 600 less people – I prefer her to the bigger ships. I posted a review over on the Princess board...you might want to check it out.

Overall the cruise was great. I have already seen the Mexican ports, so our days there were relaxation days for me. I was out on Catalina and also in San Diego – plenty to see within walking distance of tenders and piers.

As for advice or tips about having a good time – what kind of good time are you looking for? ;)

Well, a good time seems to follow us wherever we go,so that shouldn't be a problem :D . Looking forward to another adventure.

Only a few more days... anyone else traveling? We are all hoping for nice weather, can't wait to see San Francisco and sail out under the Golden Gate Bridge!
