First time leaving from Pt. Canaveral

Hope I did ok. Coco Beach shuttle will be picking us up at the airport at 5 pm. We're staying at the Raddison then headed to Oasis.

 

I'm hoping there is a grocery store, or someplace to get cruise wine, that is near by.

There are a lot of stores near you as this area is a mixture tourist/residential area...

Google Earth or maps is your friend

 

if we are talking about Radisson at the Port then your choices are slim within what most would consider walking distance. There is a 'speedway' gas station with the typical big gas station choices. A full liq' store or large grocery is going to be a mile or so down A1A. Cape Canaveral liq' - a small independant is about 1/2 mile but you want to check the address as it is off the main road ....

We're locals, you'll love the area! The Radisson has a great pool to occupy your unwind time.

 

There are Uber drivers everywhere for your convenience! Charges would only be several dollars as locations are local (but most just out of walking distance). Example, we used a driver to go from the Port (amazing restaurants!) to three miles down the road and our total was $6. You'll only need to go less than that.

 

Publix is the most amazing grocery store (and the most local). You could stop in and say hello to my husband!

They have a deli that makes the best subs! There is also a liquor store attached.

As mentioned above, the Speedway (or RaceTrac) is a large convenience store with small cooked food items and beer/wine.

 

If you're going to dine at a restaurant, go to Fishlips in the Port! Eat upstairs on the water!

Grills outside is another great option.
