Disembarking & Catching a flight in same day

ok- this is our first cruise and I had no idea it takes so long to disembark. We have to be on a flight at 2:30 out of Houston, which is what, an hour away from Galveston? Is this enough time? There weren't any later flights that day (Southwest)- What should we do?

You would probably have plenty of time to make your flight. Could depend on how you choose to get to the airport. ie; Princess Transfers, limo or rental car etc. Call Princess and they can tell you the earliest time you should book a flight home.

 

Bascially, yes you can catch a flight home to same day.

 

Generally expect to begin disembarking by 9:30 am or slightly before.

You'll be fine. Wouldnt recommend Princess transfers...been there and done that...never again. The buses wont go until the buses are full. Prearrange a limo service or car rental. Hobby airport is closer than Houston Intl, if that's an option.
