Tampa Girl Posted February 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2018 We will be on the Amsterdam in October for an overnight in Beijing. We are considering the Tianjinporttours.com for a 1-1/2 private tour (8 people). Has anyone had any experience with this tour agency?
budbo Posted February 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2018 When we did a cruise into Tianjin a couple years ago we used beijingtoursbycoco. Jason, Coco's husband, was our guide for the 3 days/2 nights that we were there and we couldn't have been more pleased with him. He was prompt, fun, knowledgeable and an all- around good guy.....plus, he spoke great English! We would definitely use them again if we were back in Beijing. Check out their website. We contacted toursbycoco. Their tours involve taking the high speed train into Beijing - 40 minutes v. 2-1/2 to 3 hrs. Sounds much better than by car. By chance, did you also take the bullet train and, if so, how was it?
budbo Posted February 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2018 No, at the time we booked with them, the high speed train wasn't an option.....wish it had been though!
