I was looking at my April cruise and its only 15% off at this time, is there a point where they give greater discounts in advance?

Unpredictable. However, if you purchase and see a lower price, you can cancel and reorder.

If you purchased using onboard credit, do they return your onboard credit to your account? I earned additional onboard credit and would love to use it towards the beverage package

If you cancel a purchase made iwith onbard credit, you get that credit back, and it can be used immediately to make another purchase.
