Ketchikan Trolley Tour

Read someplace that you can book this tour at the visitor center. Has anyone done this? What is the cost? I saw a wide range of cost on line at various websites, but wondering if it would be cheaper and easier to go to visitor center and buy a ticket for trolley. Thanks

Haven't heard of a trolley tour there, just a free shuttle bus (think only hourly, but could be wrong) that loops around town and stops at port. It stops at or near a number of places of interest to visitors.

To go outside city to a couple of Totem pole parks, however, you would need to take a bus that goes by the port. $2.
