Dog Mushing in Skagway

I am looking at the Musher’s Camp and Dog Sled Experience in Skagway. RCCL is running it on sale through midnight. My questions are:

What is the best time to go? The have 8:30, 12:30 & 1:30 available.

But I’d also like to do the White Pass Summit Railroad. Would that be too much in a day? The musher is on my daughter’s bucket list so that’s a must do at some point on the cruise.

Doesn't matter what time. Sure you can add the train, so you would schedule both these tours so they fit into your port time.

An alternative is one combo tour, that includes a one way train, stop at a dog camp and a transit to Emerald Lake and back. I'd only suggest independent for this option.
