Snorkeling in Canaries

My husband and I will be on the Celebrity Silhouette going to the Azores, Canaries & Lisbon (23 Sept-7 Oct 2018). We are interested in snorkeling on one of the islands (catamaran or boat tour preferably). We are going to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. Does anyone know if one island has better snorkeling than the other?

If you are used to Caribbean for example, canaries aren't even close. We were successful at lanzarote. We rented a car from cicar and drove to playa de papagano (spelling may be off). Really beautiful beach and ok snorkeling. We went there first then drove to timanfaya in the afternoon when it isn't crowded. We rented cars in tenerife and gran canaria and visited landmarks on our own. Maybe fuerteventura has decent snorkeling?

Thank you for the info! Yes, we are used to snorkeling in the Caribbean and Hawai’i. Maybe we’ll stick with land tours :D

Honestly, I'd just research beforehand and rent a car. We did that in gran canaria, tenerife, la Palma and lanzarote and it was great. Really easy to do. Just make sure if you can't drive a stick, to reserve an automatic. We had a great time
