Drinks & Gratuities

Hi, I'm hoping to book a cruise in the next couple of days with NCL on Jewel. As I'm in the UK they are offering All Inclusive on all, but sail away fares. I'm trying to work out whether it's worth it for me.

If I had a cabin mate it most certainly would, but the difference between the cost for 2 at the different fares is the same as for 1 if you see what I mean, (i.e. if 2 sail it's £1200 vs £1700 & for 1 it's £1100 vs £1600).

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the cost for the Adult drinks package would be if purchased separately & also what the service charge is if not included? I've tried searching the site, but to no avail.

Any help would be great, even ball park figures.

Thanks:)

It is $89 per person per day plus 20% gratuity if you buy it separately.

Only very exceptionally (if ever) would it be worth taking the non all inclusive rate and buying the UBP. As you have noticed, it is closer when there is just one of you, but even then I haven’t yet seen any where buying the package would be cheaper.
