jamadeliz Posted January 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2006 Are there hairdryers in all cabins? We just got off Legend--we were in a suite. We booked another cruise for Feb. This time we are staying on Deck 2 of the Splendour in 2 adjoining rooms - oceanview. Are the windows picture windows or portholes?? Thanks for your help! Alexis Posted January 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2006 This will show you the windows and tell you which cabins have an obstructed view. Can't say about the dryers, I have never sailed on her. Go to http://www.rccl.com and click on ships. Click on yours and deck plans. It will show you deck two and the window types. Some of the cabins have an obstructed view and it will also show you them. Cyna Posted January 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2006 We were on Splendour last July for a western Mediterranian cruise and were on deck 2. Yes, there are small, low-watt hair dryers in the room. (I freaked when we boarded and the dryer wasn't in the bathroom, as on other cruises. However, I found it in one of the drawers.) It served me perfectly well for our cruise. The windows are really windows, not portholes. They are quite large and I had a great view out of my window. I loved deck 2. There was NO vibration and it was VERY quiet. We could be anywhere on the ship in a flash.
