Galapagos Xpeditions - booking

Is there any way to get a somewhat discounted price for the Galapagos Xpedition? Considering the size of the ship, and the demand, I wouldn't think it likely. Can anyone who had gone recently give me a general idea of the cost for the Celebrity trip which includes the stay in Quiteo, transportation to the Galapagos, as well as the cruise? Does Celebrity do the airfare too, or is that best arranged seperately?

You can get actual pricing, including air, on the Celebrity website. I sure haven't seen any discounts for this cruise (but am always looking!) There's also some great info on this thread:

Hi Vincent, I have been researching this via Celebrity's website. http://www.celebrity.com/search/vacationSearchResults.do;jsessionid=0000LHyrPE6ZYXEuPRuL6Nx-Ygu:1028etqv2?dest=ANY&date=ANY&ship=XP&price=ANY&image.x=18&image.y=9

They provide pricing on the 7 day cruise, and 10 and 11 day cruise-tours, plus air if you want it. If you want to price a balcony cabin, choose "suites" .... it took me a long time to realize that that's the only category of balconies on Xpedition.

The only discount for Xpedition is for Elite Captains Club members. It's 10%.
