Question about soda/beer on cruises?

I've noticed, at least on Carnival, that they don't have the fountain machines for soda or beer on tap. Everything is from the can.

 

Wouldn't it be more economical and easier for everything to have these drinks on tap or in a fountain machine?

 

Or is there a logistical problem with it. Maybe health reasons.

I don't drink beer on the Carnival's cruises. However, I did notice them unloading kegs and loading kegs on the Carnival Pride a year ago.

 

Must be draft beer somewhere on the ship.
