cruising_scientist25 Posted June 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2018 I tried this dessert on the Dawn (Bamboo restaurant) and holy moly, was this one of the best desserts I've ever had. What exactly are these things (the triangles) made of? How can I recreate them at home???

cruising_scientist25 Posted September 6, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted September 6, 2018 Happy to help! Yatsuhashi are Japanese pastries made of mashed red beans wrapped up in rice flour skins. Here is more info! I found this too actually, but wasn't 100% sure this was the right thing (I found a lot of other Japanese desserts that use the red bean paste). Are you sure this is it? Or is it an educated guess based on the description?
