Holland House vs. Divi Little Bay Beach

Taking a large family cruise in August 2018 and want to spend a relaxing day at the beach in St. Maarten. Ages range from 11 to 60+. Would like recommendations on which place to spend our day, Holland House or Divi Little Bay Beach? Thank you.

Bob - I've gotten very little information on which would be the best beach to go to on St. Maarten. Our family just wants to sit on the beach, relax and swim that day. I heard mixed reviews about swimming in the water at Holland House. Any ideas of where we should go?

We went to Divi Little Bay last time we were there (2016). We've also stayed there on a land vacation. Very nice spot. We took a taxi there and back from the ship. We weren't the only cruisers there either.

The beach at the Holland House is not amazing.

 

But it's still one of my favorite places. Easy for a large group to come and go back to the ship...umbrellas and chair are easy to get. Lunch is right there or head over to the Blue B**ch if you want ribs or comfort food.

 

It just easy and the owner and staff there are so nice.
