cruzintee Posted July 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2018 I used my BOA points to buy OBC which I used to buy a 5 night dining package for my upcoming September Greek Isle cruise. I did not realize that you could not make your reservations until you boarded the ship. Does anyone know if I call if they will make the reservations, or do they strict about this policy? Clarea Posted July 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Yes, they are strict, you cannot make reservations until you are onboard. If you must make reservations pre-cruise, cancel the dining package and book each restaurant individually, at full price. When you cancel, your OBC will be available to use immediately after you cancel.
slyster Posted July 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2018 as far as I know you have to wait until you board unless you were to purchase them individually. The dining package requires you to book on board. Once you get on the ship, you can go to any specialty restaurant to book all restaurants. You don't have to go to each individual restaurant. Ken at the beach Posted July 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2018 In order to get the reduced rate of the dining package as compared to the full cost of each restaurant you give up the ability to make reservations ahead of time.
