Using OBC to buy dining package

Recommended Posts

I used my BOA points to buy OBC which I used to buy a 5 night dining package for my upcoming September Greek Isle cruise. I did not realize that you could not make your reservations until you boarded the ship. Does anyone know if I call if they will make the reservations, or do they strict about this policy?

Yes, they are strict, you cannot make reservations until you are onboard.

If you must make reservations pre-cruise, cancel the dining package and book each restaurant individually, at full price. When you cancel, your OBC will be available to use immediately after you cancel.

as far as I know you have to wait until you board unless you were to purchase them individually. The dining package requires you to book on board. Once you get on the ship, you can go to any specialty restaurant to book all restaurants. You don't have to go to each individual restaurant.
