online2much Posted April 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2005 We've booked this suite for the October 1st sailing....has anyone stayed in this suite?
dallasailor Posted June 19, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2005 These are handicap cabins, and are much larger than the SS cabins shown on the link in the previous post. They are also corner cabins, with two doors, so the balcony must wrap around ( a door to nowhere?). We have one booked for an October sailing, but I must say that I am disabled. These cabins have raised toilets, grab bars, a roll- in tub, which is a whirlpool, by the way, a separate shower with a seat. However, if the sofa bed is open, there is no way for a wheelchair to get by. Either access to balcony, and sitting area, or, access to bathroom and cabin door. I do think that these cabins should be left for the disabled people who need them, and that you should consider the aft cabins, which are just as large, with the same whirlpool tub, and separate shower (no seat). These aft cabins are also on deck 5. JMHO Sandra
