Need to bring insect repellent?

First time river cruising. Amsterdam Sept. 10 to Basel Sept. 24, including the Moselle. With low water levels, wondering if there will be increased insect activity due to standing water?? Or maybe mossies aren't an issue on these rivers during September? Any feedback would be appreciated!

 

And upcoming cruisers certainly do value the posts of those experienced cruisers. Thanks!
