Cabins at the front of the ship, (NCL SUN).

 We are going to Alaska in late August on the NCL SUN. I'm thinking about getting a cabin at the front of the ship. Is a cabin at the front too windy to injoy the deck when the ship is moving, or would I do better by getting a cabin at the back of the ship? I am taking my dad and he will be 81 years old.

thank you,

poleman

Too windy? For some there is never enough wind, for others a slight breeze is too much. Yes, on the two sea days out of seven it will be somewhat windy up front, but you'll love these cabins on the port days.

If I had a choice, for most cruises I would prefer the aft facing cabins. However, if I was cruising the Inside Passage to Alaska, I would prefer the forward facing cabins, as the view is wonderful.

Having said the above, I am also sure there will be days at sea when its too windy to enjoy any outside deck. At sea, there isn't even a barbed wire.....
