Booking Guarantee ?

We have booked some room on the Conquest for this April. We booked Window Room Guarantee. They gave us are room numbers already. Is there a chance we will get upgraded with a Guarantee? Our first cruise was with Carnival and we paid for an inside room with them picking the room and were upgraded to Window Room, all three rooms. Is that the same as Guarantee?

idec, it is very early for them to have assigned room numbers to GTY bookings; are you certain you booked a GTY?

-How soon after booking were the room numbers provided?

-Did you first get paperwork showing a GTY booking, or did you get room numbers assigned right away?

-What type of room were you assigned?(5A or 6A,B,E)

 

It sounds to me as if you selected a category but let Carnival go ahead and choose a specific room, which is not the same as a GTY booking.
