Hi guys. First time cruiser here. My gf and I are going on a western carribean cruise from miami. do you recommend any hotels that allow good access to port as well as some sight seeing? thanks for the response in advance. this is a great board!

Not quite sure what you mean by "good access to port as well as some sight seeing", but these are all nice/decent downtown Miami hotels that are close to the Port of Miami.

 

The very BEST views of the port and the entire channel are from the Biscayne Bay Marriott. The Intercontinental also has good views of the port.
