Trunk Bay excursion

Anyone done the Princess excursion to St John that leaves from the pier so u dont have to take a taxi and the ferry?  We just want as much time at Trunk Bay as possible and this seems like it might be the best option. Only problem is it’s only 4 hours. Wondering how much time that actually gives us on Trunk Bay? Is there a better way to do Trunk Bay?
