We’ve been cruising for 20 plus years. My wife used to hate using others snorkeling gear so she researched and bought some great snorkeling gear about 20 years ago and we still use it. So if you’re going to be cruising and enjoy snorkeling it’s a great investment.

What are some of your favorite snorkeling from shore spots in the Caribbean?

We usually research on TripAdvisor and cruise critic but are scheduled for St. Croix soon and I have yet to find a decent snorkeling place from shore.

St. Kitts we usually go to Carambola beach club for the reef right of shore.

St. Lucia to pigeon island.

Bonaire to Klein Bonaire, the little island across from ship.

St. Thomas Sapphire beach reef to right seagrass to left facing ocean.

Barbados cab to the Boatyard bar and they now bring you out to sea turtles and ship wreck. Only drawback no longer have Banks Beer.

St. Marten, Antigua, St. Croix we’ve not Snorkeled from shore and would love any information.

We always bring rash guard and pool noodles for snorkeling. Leaving the $1.00 pool noodles with kids at last beach. Room in suitcase for Duty Free Booze.
