Barkingowl Posted January 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2006 I've never been in it but here's a link to a site that might help you to decide. http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Carnival/Liberty.htm
Sisters of the Sea Posted January 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2006 We were in 6452 on the Liberty. Loved the room and the balcony. This room and the L-shaped room share a private entrance way so you won't get any noise....at least we didn't experience it. You could hear muffled noises in the hallway from the lounges but once inside the room very peaceful. Here are some pictures. http://community.webshots.com/album/518866145fqnWHJ
ilovethesun Posted January 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2006 What category are these aft balcony rooms? How much more do they cost and how do you request them?

Frequent Floater Posted January 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2006 All of the stern extended balcony and the L aft staterooms on the Liberty are 8A and the 2 wrap arounds are 9A's. We had the stern on our Europe sailing and a wrap around for upcoming Eastern.
serene56 Posted January 25, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2006 The balconies are nice on the wrap around..but how much space do I need. We booked 7434 on the Liberty. Its a 8B and saved 600.00 by not taking the wrap around. To me that was a lot of money.
iluvdoxies Posted January 26, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2006 Serene, I agree...and somehow, the room seems smaller too.
StacyandTim Posted January 26, 2006 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2006 We had the 9A aft with wrap-around on the Triumph last February and LOVED it! So much so, that I just booked the same cabin yesterday for February 2007. It was Verandah Deck, port side, cabin 8428. My parents were in starboard side aft with wrap-around 8433 and they loved it also. I found it to be very private, no one can see on my balcony from above. It also made for a nice gathering place for cocktails with friends and family before dinner! Enjoy :)
serene56 Posted January 26, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 26, 2006 No one could see you on your balcony on the other decks unless you stand at your railing.
StacyandTim Posted January 26, 2006 #11 Share Posted January 26, 2006 No one could see you on your balcony on the other decks unless you stand at your railing. Exactly :) I liked that part!
