Upgrade question

Hi are booked a select price cruise on brittannia transatlantic for this october

As there are 3 of us in the cabin so we booked an obstructed view cabin with sofa bed so we can have a double bed as well as a single bed and wont be having bunks as we always do.

When booked they asked if i would like an upgrade if available for which i replied yes.

If we get an upgrade will it have a sofa bed or could we possibly be upgraded to a cabin with bunk beds

We booked through an agent would i be able to ring them and ask for no upgrade now as we dont sail for 4 months

In the unlikely event that you get upgraded, it is quite possible that you will be given a cabin with bunk beds. It will all depend on which cabins it is most convenient for P&O to fill. Once the upgrade is given, I believe it can be difficult to overturn, presumably because your original cabin may have been reallocated. 

 

If this is important to you, as it obviously is, it would be best to do as you suggest and ask your agent to amend the booking to no upgrade.

My wife rang up and enquired but we had already opted out of upgrade

Also the cruise is sold out so noone wilk be getting upgrades anyway
