MSC Meraviglia Yacht Club Drinks Package

It’s our second Msc Cruise and our first time in the yacht club.  The last time we cruised with MSC we had the Aurea experience and we upgraded the drinks package before we sailed.  I can’t tell from any information on line which drink package will be available to us in the yacht club.  We’d like to enjoy a glass of champagne now and again and be able to use the package outside of the yacht club, would I need to upgrade the package or is everything available to us both in the YC and the rest of the ship? Thanks in advance, maria

There are several posts floating around here about this going back to when it was first announced and speculation so maybe look for those as there is recent info there.  Are you sailing in Europe or US?

Thanks for your reply.  We’re sailing the Caribbean out of New York

Ahh, you are lucky to be on one of those sailings.

I'd suspect then like Seaside  some tyoe of champagne in YC lounge.  Pretty much any type of drink anywhere except the few things on the high end list.

We'll also be on that sailing.

The drinks package included for YC guests is equivalent to the Premium package, which includes drinks up to a value of $12 - which is very comprehensive.  Drinks in the YC enclave without a price next to them are included;  those with a price (top-shelf and higher-end wines) are included in the PremiumPlus package (which we've upgraded to.  It's $17 pppd to do this - plus 15% service charge if done onboard, but avoided if done before sailing).  The following photos show what's included in YC on Seaside, courtesy of Rattanchair, and may be either the same or very similar to what will be on offer on Meraviglia (no-one will be able to confirm that until she actually sails from New York):

Items for charge will incur a 15% service charge.  Here's an idea of what wines may fall into that category:

The bar menus around the rest of the ship should be similar to those in the photos on the following thread.  Items on the Connoisseurs' Selection page are excluded for YC guests (unless upgraded to PremiumPlus) but everything else will be included (from post #35):

Here's a link to a thread where the subject was discussed at length, including the possibility (or not!) to upgrade when in YC:

See you in the Top Sail Lounge, Maria!  👌  😜

Have you joined the roll call?  Here's a link if you're interested:

We're hoping to organise a meet & mingle if CC and MSC don't have a formal one organised for our sailing.  There's also a spreadsheet that you can add your name to, plus you can indicate which, if any, of the planned activities you want to take part in, such as slot pull, cabin crawls, etc.  Here's a link for you to have a look at:
