CoCo snorkeling

I see there's an all-day snorkeling "excursion" for 35-odd bucks. I assume that's just "here's your equipment, there's the beach, go have fun?"

 

If you bring your own equipment, do you still have to get the excursion to snorkel?

You can snorkel with your own equipment at no cost. They do recommend getting a snorkel vest and we were not charged for this either.  I did see several people who looked like they were using their own gear that did not have the snorkeling vest from Royal.

Excellent. Thanks! I knew having to have my own mask for prescription lenses would come in handy some day. 😉

I saw a huge sting ray and lots of fish and a turtle, it was a nice shore dive, very safe for my 10 year granddaughter.

Late to the discussion but where do you go in for the snorkeling? We're headed out in a couple of weeks. TIA!

Go buy the (towards the left) snorkel shack and there is a cove, go to the right near the rocks, fish like to eat algae form rocks and corals.
