If they skip GSC make sure they refund you the $60-80 they charge to go there in taxes and fees.

I got off the Bliss Friday 12/13, and we skipped the first port of San Juan (scheduled 4pm to 11pm stop) completely due to anticipated bad weather going down. This was announced at the life boat drill as soon as we set sail. I believe this is the first ship that the captain has served as captain on. Some who were planning to see family were not happy, but most didn't complain, enjoying the beautiful ship. The captain said they were sailing closer to the coast and going slower to minimize the weather impacts. We got a $16 refund for port fees. The Bliss is a new ship, maybe this captain is very conservative about judging weather risks, but I would not be happy if I were on the Dec. 13 itinerary and missed GSC.  At least you have warmer weather than up north!
