Honest opinion of Holiday Inn Vancouver Downtown

We have a reservation at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Downtown Vancouver the night prior to our cruise.  Address 1110 Howe St.  Would appreciate any comments good or bad regarding the hotel and surrounding area.

Bruce's reply might seem flippant OP, but it's actually very relevant - far more people on TA, far more reviews, and unless it's one of the VERY few hotels with a cruise special package of some kind (it's not) there's rarely any info you can get here that you can't get more of over on TA.

 

That siad, for this particular hotel there was a post similar to yours a year ago so you can see my two cents worth about the 'hood, and the poster actually came back afterward to tell us how they enjoyed their stay. That's as good as it's going to get for you on CC!!!

I haven't stayed there, but it's sort of the opposite end of downtown (that only means 1 or 2 km ) from the cruise terminal. it's a hotel that's very popular with people visiting St Pauls Hospital.
