Has anyone recently gone Horseback riding (05-06) in Grand Cayman?

Has anyone recently gone horseback riding in Grand Caymen? If so, were you able to canter/lope on the beach and who did you use?

We are going in April, and being an experienced rider I've always dreamed of riding on the beach. I don't want to be disappointed by going nose to tail at a walk/trot the whole time.

Any input is appreciated! Thanks.

Hi ClipClop...

My husband and I were in Grand Cayman this past December, and we booked a beach ride through Honeysuckle Beach Rides. We were there on a Sunday with only two other ships in port, and although we didn't book a private ride, it turned out to be just the two of us along with the guide. As beginners, we didn't canter or gallop, but I don't see why they wouldn't let you if you are experienced. If you really want to make sure, you can book a private ride with them. I booked through the link below, and they should be able to answer that question for you if you want to confirm that you'll be able to canter/gallop before you book it.

Have fun!!!
